The flower seemed to expand out and swirl around a central vibrant sun

closer to Hawaii than Washington State

This semi abstract piece spent most of its early development flipped 180 degrees and looked more like a mountain range than a Phoenix

16 inch Elk Frame Drum - with Mallet This painting was another caseThis beautiful handmade elk drum was built from scratch with materials locally sourced from a native drum supply shop in Washington State. The drum has a leather wrapped handle. A mallet is included but may not be the exact one in the photo. This is my favorite animal hide to work with. These frame drums are deceptively simple. Their versatility makes them great for shamanic journeys, ceremonies, sound healing and of course, just playing music.
